Senior Developer

Job Description:

  • Works closely with team members to design, develop and maintain software components and products that support the clientís business applications.
  • Uses tools, languages, coding standards and best practices to develop new product features and maintain product functionality and enhancements.
  • Develop and encourage a Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) mindset by identifying, implementing, and “encouraging” team members to implement automated builds, testing, deployment, analysis, etc.
  • Drives and measures unit test coverage – this includes writing them yourself.
  • Rapidly fixes bugs and solve problems.
  • Works closely with the QA and other related teams to ensure consistent understanding of requirements and approach.
  • Along with teammates, creates, updates, and maintains appropriate documentation (e.g., API documentation, architectural diagrams)

Job Requirements:

  • Strong development and design experience using various technologies and frameworks such as Java, AngularJS, Spring, Hibernate, REST/JSON, and OOAD.
  • 8+ years of Java coding
  • 5+ yearsí experience with writing HTML and Javascript
  • 5+ years developing Java-based web applications
  • Significant experience developing REST-based web services
  • Significant experience with multiple databases including developing a scalable database design and creating/maintaining efficient queries and store procedures
  • Experience with all of the following: Spring Framework, Hibernate, Angular
  • Experience with an agile methodology and successfully working in a team environment
  • Experience mentoring junior team members
  • Comprehensive understanding and implementation of OO design patterns
  • And most important, a love of programming!

Quality Assurance Engineer

Candidates must have:

  • a BA or BS degree,
  • three (3) or more years of hands-on experience testing software applications, and
  • five (5) or more years of experience with software development.

Candidates should have substantial experience with the following:

  • Writing test cases and test scenarios with and without access to detailed requirements
  • Designing user acceptance testing sessions including writing user acceptance tests
  • Designing, building, and executing automated functional tests utilizing an open source tool
  • Designing, building, and executing load and performance tests
  • Testing, identifying, and working with the team to resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Planning and executing multi-browser and multi-platform tests
  • Analyzing software test results and recommending a resulting course of action
  • Quickly grasping technical concepts and honing in on the root cause of an issue
  • Writing SQL scripts
  • Working efficiently within multi-person project teams to insure fluid communication around deliverable status
  • Working with a distributed team
  • Working on an agile team for 2+ years

Marketing Coordinator

Job Description:

The PRIVO Creative Services and Marketing team is currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator to assist in day to day operations that will include market research, managing PRIVO’s social media presence, email marketing communications, blog and gather performance data across platforms. The Marketing Coordinator must be able to react quickly to support business needs, determine daily activities, and program content while delivering to deadlines. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in both social media and direct response, online advertising and market research.

Marketing Coordinator Tasks:

  • Help drive brand awareness, market research and identify trends in the industry to help in determining marketing direction.
  • Gather data across PRIVO platforms to interpret, turn into actionable items and execute changes to optimize our product and live campaigns as well as generate regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Manage social media presence and special ad campaigns.
  • Support with content creation and content strategy for email marketing campaigns and blogs, then tracking/reporting on effectiveness.
  • Help develop traffic generation strategy.
  • Assist in creating materials used for proposals, correspondence and presentation materials and reports.
  • Help coordinate special events.

Marketing Coordinator Tasks:

The ideal candidate will have a cheerful can-do attitude, an analytical mind and critical skill-set as well as the ability to project manage several deliverables. Key requirements for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience within marketing and the digital space (relevant internship experience is acceptable). Digital kid industry a plus.
  • Careful attention to detail without sacrificing deadlines.
  • High energy – must be a deadline driven, highly flexible, and a multi-tasking master.
  • Love numbers and problem solving with data and have an analytical mindset.
  • Assist in creating materials used for proposals, correspondence and presentation materials and reports.
  • Be curious with an appetite for knowing what people think and how they behave online in the social space.
  • Have a passion for brand-centric online marketing.
  • Have strong copywriting skills and an understanding of the importance of creative in effective online advertising.
  • Have a solid understanding of online marketing and significant experience with Twitter and Facebook.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Advertising, Twitter Advertising, Search Marketing or other native advertising a big plus.
  • Comfort level with Excel. Fluency in Word and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a start-up work environment with multiple stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must.
  • Should be well versed with e-mail marketing and lead generation through email marketing.
  • Should be able to improve yourself everyday with both online and offline tutorials as digital marketing strategies are always improving.
